Are you only studying fashion or are you doing a double degree? Are you looking into design or styling? Just wondering what you want to do with your degree, no hate at all xx
I’m studying fashion as my major, and taking electives from graphic design (and a few from illustration) to compliment my study - I figured that way it opens a few more doors for me when I graduate than if I just studied fashion without anything else or just with random electives :) Ahh there is so many jobs I would love to do! Visual merchandising would be awesome, as would fashion styling, and designing… I think for me it will come down to seeing what jobs are around when I graduate as I’d be happy to do so many different things that I don’t have a clear-cut plan, haha! :P Whatever I end up doing though I’ll most likely end up leaving Perth when I graduate, as there isn’t a whole lot here in terms of careers in fashion compared to elsewhere. I plan on having a working holiday in the UK, and if I like it I’ll stay there! :) x
What classes do i need to take in senior years at school if i want to get a degree in psychology?
It’s different depending on whereabouts you are in the world and what uni/college you want to go to. For me personally, it was based on your ATAR score (which is the final mark you get when you graduate high school) and you also had to have studied English as a subject in Year 11/12.
If you are unsure I’d recommend getting in touch with the university you are hoping to go to, or a careers counsellor if you have one at your school - they’ll be able to let you know what’s required! :)
Hi hun I don't know if this is a personal question but what do you think about working one day per week five hours and earning 10$ per hour? In one week earning 50$? And in a month earning 200$?
I think it all depends on your age - for me, being 21 that would be under half of my current hourly wage, and not enough for me to live off and pay bills, but if you are still in high school and just after a bit of extra spending money then that sounds like it would be good for you :) And if you are a high school student, only working one day would be a good number of hours to have some extra money while still having time to study and relax over the weekend!
Hello lovely I would really love your opinion, this year I will start studying a degree to work in a hotel, what do you think about that degree? Is it good to be able to work in a hotel and travel? Mu family and friends are telling me to study another degree, they think that what I want to study is shit
Hi there! I think that if it’s what you really want to do then go for it! :) When I first changed degrees from Psychology into Fashion I would always get people (particularly from older generations) asking in a slightly concerned tone, “and what are you hoping to do with that degree when you graduate…?”. If your field of study isn’t something that they understand they may have a false idea of how much work is available/what that work involves, so they might think they have your best interests at heart by trying to steer you away from it. So if you are sure you want to work in hotels don’t let other peoples opinions make you doubt yourself! :) I think it would be fun being able to travel the world and work! I plan on travelling to the UK to work for a while once I graduate :D
